People who read Tarot will often jokingly complain about being called out by the cards, and it’s true, that does happen - more often than any of us would like.
But the cards can also be helpful waymarkers when life gets rough. They can gently guide us toward thoughts and actions that help us deal with whatever is going on.
They can help us tap into our inner knowing and re-center ourselves when we’re frazzled. And who isn’t a little frazzled these days?
Last week’s cards were pretty intense. It was a heavy-duty week for a lot of us.
This week looks to be quieter, a good time to regroup and settle some of that wild energy.
Today’s cards offer a way to do just that.
The Labyrinth: Time to turn inward and process everything you've been through recently. Find your still center, your place of inner peace, so you can get to where you need to go. Depending on your situation, you may need some physical distance from other people as well. Whatever it takes to find that peaceful core and connect with it.
Lord of Labryses: Beware of the urge to leap to conclusions or decisions. It is not yet the time for them. Work on your patience - with yourself and the world around you - as you dwell in the moment and walk your own inner Labyrinth. This is a “be here now” kind of time. The moment for action will come eventually, but not yet.
The Minoan Tarot is an 86-card deck I created, with art I drew and painted by hand in the style of the ancient Minoan frescoes. The court cards are gender balanced, and the deck comes in a beautiful box along with a full-color 176-page companion book. The Minoan Tarot website offers photos of many of the cards as well as more details about the deck. It took me three years to create the artwork for the deck; I hope it offers you a lifetime of enjoyment!
Nice cards. Labyrinth is one of my faves from this deck!
That's exactly how I'm feeling after last week :-D
