Today's Minoan Tarot cards

All labryses, all the time!

The Minor Arcana cards don’t point to major life issues, but sometimes their message is a little more emphatic than usual.

Like today, for instance. Two court cards in the same suit. I’ve definitely been awash in emotions the past few days, for a variety of reasons (the season, my upcoming birthday, some triggering behavior from rude people).

These cards are saying it’s time to take a step back from all those emotions and rely more firmly on intellect and reason to make decisions. That sounds wise.

I like to “pitch from the heart” most of the time. But sometimes, the heart is overwrought. The Big World is too much. Time to let the Big Feelings do their thing in their own space while I deal with practical matters from a more reasoned realm.

I hope today’s cards will help you stay on an even keel as well.

Maid of Labryses: Stay curious and don't give up on puzzling out the solution to your problems. But do your best not to automatically reject the conventional answers to your questions; sometimes you don't need out-of-the-box thinking to find the solution.

Priest of Labryses: Take your time to analyze the situation, develop a strategy, and make sure it aligns with your ethics. Avoid allowing emotion to cloud the issue; think clearly and firmly as you consider the situation. Then, when you have settled on the right answer, don't hesitate to act.
