Most of the time, Tarot readings involve the Minor Arcana. After all, most of the time, we’re not dealing with major life changes, material or otherwise.
For months now, my Monday Tarot card draws have turned up two Minors, or occasionally, one Minor and one Major Arcana card. Which makes sense. We’re all just going along with our daily lives, meeting the challenges and opportunities as they come our way.
Minor Arcana cards tend to point more toward the activities and situations of daily life, the ordinary ups and downs we all meet from one day to the next. The Majors, in contrast, tend to signal those times when the larger arc of life might change, places where we can make a decision, meet a challenge, or take advantage of an opportunity that will have long-lasting repercussions in the overall path life takes.
I’ve gotten a few comments - and a lot of private messages - telling me that these readings are hitting the mark for people. So I hope this week’s cards are spot on for you all.
Because they’re both Majors, and they point toward turning points that lead to positive change.
So here’s to good things coming into all our lives!
Judgment: It's time to make some hard choices. The most important aspect to consider is that you already know what's the right thing to do. You need to do it, no matter what other people think, and regardless of whether it's a perfect solution. This is real life. When "perfect" isn't possible, the wise determine where "good enough" lies and let that guide their decisions.
The Star: The light at the end of the tunnel - and for a change, it's not an oncoming train! This card is telling you to have hope and to expect the joy of new beginnings. Things may turn out well after all, and the hardest part is opening yourself up to accept that after such a long period of difficulty. So embrace the hope and lean on the knowledge that life will be better from here on out.
The Minoan Tarot is an 86-card deck I created, with art I drew and painted by hand in the style of the ancient Minoan frescoes. The court cards are gender balanced, and the deck comes in a beautiful box along with a full-color 176-page companion book. The Minoan Tarot website offers photos of many of the cards as well as more details about the deck. It took me three years to create the artwork for the deck; I hope it offers you a lifetime of enjoyment!
Thank you, Laura. I needed to hear that.
I am not knowledgeable about using Tarot cards (your Minoan deck or others) but these messages resonate with me. Thank you!
