Everybody knows the ancient Egyptians were “cat people.” They loved their cats, had cat goddesses, made statues of cats all over the place.
Turns out, those Egyptian cats made their way onto trading ships and expanded their territory to Crete and other Aegean islands. As cats do.
And at that point, the Minoans also became cat people.
