Starting the Journey
Well, here we go… another online platform.
I’m hoping, given friends’ and colleagues’ experience with Substack, that this will be a good space to collect up a lot of the disparate stuff that I do online and make it easier for people to find and follow. A central hub, if you will, that includes the content from my newsletter, my blogs, and maybe other stuff, too.
That way, if you’re interested in what I do, you can sign up for just this one thing and not have to go chasing all over the internet for different bits and pieces.
What is it that I do, exactly?
I’m the founder and Temple Mom of Ariadne’s Tribe, an inclusive Minoan spirituality tradition. Inclusive means exactly that: everyone is welcome.
A lot of my time revolves around All Things Minoan and the related subjects of animism, spirit work (shamanism), polytheism, and comparative mythology.
In addition to the Pagan non-fiction titles that I’m best known for, I also write fiction (historical and modern) about real people encountering magic in their lives - how they react to it and how it changes them.
But I also have other interests: herbalism and gardening (I’m an ND and have been a practicing herbalist since 1991), living history (that’s heritage interpretation, if you speak Commonwealth English), art (here’s a flagrant share of my Redbubble shop), and music (I composed the chants that we use in Ariadne’s Tribe).
So that’s me.
I hope you find what I have to share here interesting. If there’s anything in particular you’d like me to focus on, or any questions you’d like me to answer, please don’t hesitate to let me know.
Be well, be safe, and be kind.
