Sometimes Tarot readings can be frustratingly nebulous; the cards are only as specific as they feel like being at any given moment.
But this week, I drew two cards that offer well-defined, practical advice about daily life, and I’m grateful for that. Sometimes the message comes through loud and clear.
I’m very much a practical kind of person. I love to-do lists, calendar apps, and other tools that help me keep up with the details of everyday life. But sometimes, I feel a little fuzzy, especially if I’m stressed or if I’ve recently been ill.
So I’m going to take the time this week, on a regular basis, to clear my head and stay focused. I’ll check those lists and that calendar, and I’ll pat myself on the back as I complete tasks. Because we all deserve to have our accomplishments acknowledged, even if they’re small, everyday things.
Maid of Horns: Mind the details! Keep your head out of the clouds this week - now is not the time to daydream or romanticize life. Now is the time to be practical. To-do lists would be an especially good idea this week, along with careful attention to the calendar. Stay grounded and get 'er done!
Lady of Labryses: Think, think, think. Don't let yourself be bound by the proverbial box when you're looking for solutions - the answers you seek are probably unconventional. But once you've brainstormed, be sure to accurately evaluate your ideas, because some of them won't be functional in the real world. Just as the Maid of Horns attends to the details, so the Lady of Labryses makes sure that her ideas can actually be implemented. A prospective solution is no help if you can't actually implement it.
The Minoan Tarot is an 86-card deck I created, with art I drew and painted by hand in the style of the ancient Minoan frescoes. The court cards are gender balanced, and the deck comes in a beautiful box along with a full-color 176-page companion book. The Minoan Tarot website offers photos of many of the cards as well as more details about the deck. It took me three years to create the artwork for the deck; I hope it offers you a lifetime of enjoyment!
Oh wow, I love this! My cards have been anything but practical lately and it's been driving me up the wall. *hugs planner*
Your cards have read my mind!
